FlyScan is a free application for win / osx that converts video file with .srt track, generated by DJI's Inspire1 (and Phantom series), into a sequence of geotagged jpg images.

Make sure you enabled the "video caption" option on the drone pilot application, then take a jpg snapshot.

Record video while flying over your subject.

Post

Transfer video, srt and jpg file, rename them, and run FlyScan.

May, 08 2016 New version 1.1 released. New fixes for some issues on srt file format change from DJI on new Inspire 1 firmwares. Untested on Phantom 3 - 4 series. Due to NW.js update, the OSX32 version is now deprecated.
